During deceleration, the powertrain generator can add up to 18 kW (24 PS) of electric power to the combustion engine and recover energy. This enables drivers to carry out purely electric maneuvering and parking in certain conditions. When the engine remains off, passengers can put on the AC.

Launch and availability

The new Audi A5 and Audi S5 models are set to hit European countries in November after they are launched in Germany. In July 2024, buyers can start pre-ordering the A5. The entry-level Audi A5 Sedan TFSI with 110 kW will start at EUR 45,200.
