  • Xiaomi SU7: Variants & Price

Xiaomi SU7 still hasn’t officially launched the car in the UAE. We’ll give you all the details about the same once the brand launches the car here.

    Xiaomi SU7: Powertrain

The SU7 Ultra is powered by Xiaomi’s new 'V8s' electric motors, each delivering 578 hp, complemented by a 'V6s' unit at the front. Altogether, the system generates a staggering 1,548 hp, outpacing the Taycan Turbo GT by 440 hp. This immense power allows the SU7 to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 1.97 seconds and reach 300 kph in 15.07 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 350 kph.

Braking is handled by enhanced AP Racing brakes and high-grip Pirelli P Zero tires, enabling the car to decelerate from 100 kph to a standstill in merely 25 meters. The vehicle's weight and downforce are managed by a carbon fiber body kit, resulting in a total weight of 1,900 kg as per the manufacturer.

    Xiaomi SU7: Exterior & Features

The SU7 Ultra’s exterior is marked by a minimalistic interior, excluding air conditioning, and featuring lightweight aluminum and composite chassis components. It has aggressive aerodynamics, extending its width by 101 mm (to 2,064 mm), its length by 263 mm (to 5,260 mm), and reducing its height by 49 mm (to 1,406 mm).

The carbon-fiber body panels include a front splitter, rear wing, internal motor guard plate, and rear diffuser, contributing to a downforce of 2,145 kg at 350 kph, which is more than the car’s weight.

The vehicle is equipped with six-piston AP Racing brakes with 32 mm rear and 42 mm front discs that can withstand temperatures over 800 degrees Celsius. Additionally, it features regenerative braking capable of achieving up to 0.6g deceleration.

Xiaomi SU7: Cabin, Comfort & Features

Inside, the Xiaomi SU7 is symmetrically designed with the steering wheel, seats, instrument panel, and HUD all centered around the central axis. Upon startup, the dashboard display activates, and the tri-spoke D-shaped steering wheel provides a comfortable grip.

The steering wheel houses two physical buttons: one for smart driving and the other for Boost mode, offering quick access to these functions. Driving information is clearly presented on the expansive HUD.

    Xiaomi SU7: Safety Features

Safety is paramount in the Xiaomi SU7, which boasts a steel-aluminum alloy armored cage for exceptional protection. It comes with 16 active safety configurations, providing 360° protection from all sides, ensuring complete peace of mind on the road.

Xiaomi's EV factory emphasizes sustainability, incorporating considerations for carbon emissions and renewable energy use from the outset. The factory's solar roof generates 16.4M kWh of clean energy annually, and it achieves 99% efficiency in exhaust gas treatment, with "zero" heavy metal emissions in wastewater.

Xiaomi is targeting a new record for the four-door electric sedan class at the Nürburgring. The current fastest electric car on this track is the Volkswagen ID.R, with a lap time of 6:05.336 minutes. The quickest four-door electric car is the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, which clocked in at 7:07.55 minutes. Xiaomi plans to break this lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in October.
