SAUDI ARABIA : It has been 6 decades since the Ford Mustang was in production and to mark the anniversary, Ford has pulled the wraps off the super exclusive Mustang 60th Anniversary Edition

Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Edition: Variants & Price 

This 60th anniversary is expected to come in the US. car market in the third quarter of 2024 with pre-orders in the summer. However, it is important to note that the Ford Mustang has not been officially priced at just over $50,000 (AED) 183,500 for the Tu coupe). It’s only offered with the GT Premium trim level, which assures that this car has all the features one could imagine.

Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Edition: Powertrain 

The powertrain is a mix of original enhancements and new developments that separate it from the powertrains of vehicles from other segments. Peeking beneath the bright and shiny surface of the new Mustang is clear that the Mustang 60th Anniversary Package is built on the same mechanicals as a V8 powered GT Premium. These are features such as a powerful engine that now produces an impressive 486 horsepower coupled with 567 Nm of torque. 

Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Edition: Exterior & Design

Ford has fully cashed on this tradition and has relished the opportunity of designing a special edition of the seventh-generation Mustang using classic themes. The theatrical 60th Anniversary Package trim design incorporates badges on the trunk and the fender, in line with the First Generation Mustang badges.

But the 20-inch wheels with these center caps resembling those of the 1965 model look fabulous along with the specially designed Vermillion Red paint along with the badges.

Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Edition: Features 

The features of the building: the relationship of LAz and L3 to one another, the definition of L3’s contribution to LAz, and the identification of the section that adds value to L3 and distinguishes LAz from similar tools. As a tribute to the iconic past, the Dearborn-based automaker has also introduced an all-new digital instrument cluster on the Mustang that bears the aesthetics from the 1999-2001 Mustang SVT Cobra. 

There are plans to release this new cluster to all 2024 Mustang owners through the use of an over-the-air software update which will be made on the 17th of August. This comes after an earlier update that brought a new 1967-68 style gauge cluster which was deployed in Mustang’s 60th celebration back in April. These are some of the measures that Ford has been implementing to synchronize the traditional looks of the Mustang with the contemporary touch of technology so that every driver would feel associated with the lineage of the car brand.
