The latest iteration of the BMW X3, unveiled globally as the fourth-generation model, showcases a blend of enhanced design and technological upgrades. A notable addition to the lineup is the 30e xDrive variant, featuring a plug-in hybrid powertrain, alongside the 48V mild-hybrid systems integrated into the 20d xDrive, 20 xDrive, and M50 xDrive trims. Very Capable Engine Specs

The highlight of the powertrain lineup is the 30e xDrive plug-in hybrid system, offering an electric-only range of 81-90 km as per WLTP standards and capable of charging via an 11 kW AC charger. All variants of the X3 feature BMW’s renowned all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain. Looking forward, BMW has confirmed plans to introduce a more potent inline-six diesel engine to the lineup by 2025.

In terms of design, the 2024 BMW X3 debuts with a revised kidney grille that varies its appearance based on the trim level selected. For an added touch of sophistication, BMW offers an optional illuminated grille, standard on the M50 xDrive trim. 

The wheel arches have been accentuated, housing alloy wheels ranging from 18 to 21 inches, depending on the specific variant. At the rear, the Y-shaped LED tail lights impart a familial resemblance to the new BMW XM SUV, while the M50 xDrive variant boasts twin exhaust tips.

The 2024 BMW X3 enhances its feature set with upgrades such as 3-zone climate control, a power-operated tailgate, and ambient lighting that includes welcome and goodbye animations. Advanced connectivity options are also part of the package. Additional amenities include a heads-up display, a premium 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats. 

Customers can opt for a fixed panoramic sunroof and a heated steering wheel to further personalize their driving experience.
