Pagani Utopia Unveiled: It’s The Epitome Of Roadster Beauty

SAUDI ARABIA : Pagani has finally given us the Utopia Roadster, something we have been anticipating for quite a while now and it looks stunning. The convertible option gives a slight retro touch to what otherwise is an aggressive hypercar. Here is all that you need to know about the Pagani Utopia Roadster: 

Pagani Utopia Roadster: Variants & Price 

Being such a limited edition car, the Utopia is available in a single variant. Prices begin from €3.1 million (approximately AED 12,830,000), and the final on-road price depends on how much you customize your roadster. 

Pagani Utopia Roadster: Powertrains 

As for its engine, the new Utopia Roadster gets the same 6.0-litre V-12 twin-turbo engine. V12 engines are rare and given how most manufacturers are shifting to smaller engines (for more efficiency and less emissions), we are happy to see that Pagani hasn’t messed around with it. It churns out 852HP and 811 lb-ft of torque and we’ve already experienced how performance-packed this engine is. The top speed is rated at about 217 mph, which is electronically limited and slightly below the coupe version's 220 mph. 

Pagani Utopia Roadster: Exterior, Design & Features 

Despite being a convertible, the Pagani Utopia Roadster retains the 1,280 kg (2,822 pounds) weight of the coupe, thanks to the simultaneous development of both body styles. This ensures identical performance specifications and a shared monocoque chassis. 

Staying true to the Roadster aesthetics, it gets a removable glass panel soft-top along with a hard-top for the days when it’s raining. If that confuses you, the hard top can be stored on a stand every time it’s not in use. 

Pagani Utopia Roadster: Features

The cabin of the Utopia Roadster is a testament to handcrafted luxury. There are no large digital screens to be seen. Instead, there are properly old-school classic dials. Get inside it and you will feel like an old-school car without feeling dated among today’s high-tech cars. 

Pagani Utopia Roadster: Safety Features 

Now while Pagani hasn’t revealed much about what safety features the Roadster gets, we do have information about the tires. Essentially, they have sensors that will let the car’s computer know how stable the car is at any point in time. These, hence, work with stability control systems to ensure safety.

Pagani will officially launch the Utopia Roadster next month. It will also have an optional Sport pack, one that includes more carbo-titanium components, lighter seat padding, and a titanium exhaust. The ‘Aeroblade’ carbon deflectors on the wheels aid in cooling the Brembo brakes, while the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS tires enhance grip and performance. Collectively, these features elevate the Roadster’s safety dynamics as well as the aesthetic appeal.
