Mercedes AMG PureSpeed Speedster Inspired From F1 Cars Unveiled
SAUDI ARABIA : Mercedes-AMG has introduced the PureSpeed concept, a striking open-top speedster featuring an F1-inspired halo, built on the AMG SL-class platform. The PureSpeed marks the debut of Mercedes’ Mythos series, a collection of exclusive models designed for discerning car collectors.
Aerodynamics are pivotal in the PureSpeed’s design, with the car employing carbon fiber components to enhance performance and efficiency. Carbon fibre is known to be not only light but quite strong too, giving best of both worlds. And yes, while it is expensive, there’s nothing else quite like it too. The vehicle also includes carbon wheel covers designed to optimize airflow around the wheels, improving brake cooling. Under the hood, the PureSpeed is anticipated to house the renowned AMG twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine, familiar with the AMG SL 63. This engine produces 577 bhp and 800 Nm of torque.
