Mercedes-AMG introduces the all-new CLE 53 Cabriolet.

SAUDI ARABIA : Mercedes-AMG brings a new player to the field: the 2025 CLE 53 Cabriolet. This convertible doesn't compromise on performance, offering an exhilarating driving experience thanks to its powerful engine and all-wheel-drive system.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What creates a luxurious and engaging environment?

Sporty seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, and ambient lighting
  • What is the top speed of the CLE 53 Cabriolet?

    250 kilometers per hour
  • MercedesThe CLE 53 sets itself apart with a wider, more aggressive stance. Flared wheel arches create 3.0 inches more width in the rear and 2.3 inches in the front compared to the standard CLE-Class.  It sits on stylish AMG wheels, available in 19 or 20 inches, that complement the high-performance brakes.

The CLE 53 joins the Mercedes-AMG family of mild hybrids. It borrows the proven 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine from the E 53 saloon. Enhanced by a 48-volt starter-generator, this engine pumps out 449 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque.  An extra burst of power comes from an overboost function, momentarily pushing torque up to 600 Nm.

MercedesThe CLE 53 Cabriolet sprints from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.4 seconds, surpassing rivals like the Ford Mustang GT and BMW M440i.  Its top speed is electronically limited to 250 kilometers per hour, but an optional AMG performance package can increase this to 270 kilometers per hour.  A nine-speed gearbox and advanced all-wheel-drive system ensure smooth and responsive handling.

MercedesThe interior combines high-tech features with a driver-focused layout.  A large digital display serves as the instrument cluster, while a separate touchscreen controls the infotainment system.  Sporty seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, and ambient lighting create a luxurious and engaging environment.

MercedesThe automated soft top, available in three colors, opens or closes in just 20 seconds and can even operate at speeds up to 59 kilometers per hour. When lowered, an electric divider keeps the folded roof separate from the cargo area.
