Maserati Pulls Wraps Off The GT2 Stradale!

SAUDI ARABIA : There is now an even sportier version of the Maserati MC20 supercar and that is the GTS Stradale. Judging by the specs, let’s just say it sounds fantastic, for now! 

Maserati GT2 Stradale: Price 

Maserati’s CEO, Davide Grasso, pointed to, stressing that special-appeal models such as this are crucial for the brand’s plans to hit the industry’s best margins. This focus has become ever more significant as Maserati attempts to recover from a major loss, it in 2023 posted an adjusted operating loss of €82 million. Hence in these circumstances, the expected price tag for this particular special edition might be around AED 1 million.

Maserati GT2 Stradale: Powertrain 

The Italian car manufacturer Maserati has revealed an even more aggressive version of the MC20 supercar – GT2 style. This model is 60 kg lighter than the standard MC20 and gets a small power upgrade, with the 3. 0-liter V6 turbo-petrol engine most of which is now pushing an extra 10hp.

Slightly hidden under the skin, the Maserati GT2 Stradale makes 640HP at 7,500 rpm. This is made possible by a 1,365kg curb weight and the car is capable of going from a standstill to 100kmph in a mind-blowing 2. 8 seconds. This acceleration figure will place it level with the even more powerful, but heavier McLaren 750S and will outpace the 829 hp plug-in hybrid Ferrari 296 GTB.

Maserati GT2 Stradale: Exterior, Design & Features 

The GT2 Stradale features a prominent aero kit, which includes a newly designed front diffuser and a large rear wing borrowed from the GT2 model. These enhancements significantly improve high-speed cornering capabilities, generating 500kg of aerodynamic downforce at 280 kph—far surpassing the standard MC20's 145kg at the same speed. 

The Stradale also adopts the GT2’s advanced suspension setup and refined steering-rack tuning. Additionally, it comes with the same high-performance braking system, featuring ventilated discs, calipers, and pads, along with a slightly more track-oriented anti-lock braking system.

Maserati GT2 Stradale: Safety Features 

The GT2 Stradale is equipped with a new Corsa Evo driving mode, and an advanced four-level traction control system, available exclusively with the optional performance packs. These performance packs also add Michelin semi-slick tires, an electronic limited-slip differential, four-point seat belts, and other enhancements, ensuring that the car not only performs at its peak but also provides advanced safety features for those who intend to push it to its limits on the track.
