Lexus ES 2025: A Premium Sedan, Reimagined

Lexus officially revealed the 8th-generation ES at the 2025 Shanghai Motor Show. Known for its comfort, space, and luxury, the ES is now positioned as a pioneer in the brand’s next-gen electrification push. Available with both HEV and BEV powertrains, the model is set to roll out globally from mid-2026.

Developed at Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama, the new ES adopts a “multi-pathway” electrification approach and is built on the advanced TNGA GA-K platform. This allows for improved body rigidity and a low center of gravity—benefits that directly enhance ride quality and stability.
