Lamborghini Huracan’s Successor Will Get A Powerful V8 Hybrid Engine!

SAUDI ARABIA : Lamborghini has unveiled the powertrain specifications for the highly anticipated successor to the Huracan. Codenamed the ‘634’, this new supercar is expected to be named the Temerario and will feature a cutting-edge plug-in hybrid powertrain. This setup combines a brand-new 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with three electric motors, marking Lamborghini's successful transition to an electrified lineup across its entire range of vehicles available worldwide.

The V8 engine in the 634 is a marvel of engineering, equipped with a flat-plane crankshaft and capable of producing 780 bhp and 730 Nm of torque. This represents a significant upgrade over the naturally aspirated V10 engine found in the Huracan. Remarkably, the V8 boasts a rev limit of 10,000 rpm, making it one of the highest-revving V8 engines globally.Complementing this powerful engine are three electric motors—two positioned on the front axle and a third integrated between the engine and the gearbox. Although Lamborghini has not disclosed the combined output, it is expected to be around 900 bhp. The supercar will utilize a dual-clutch gearbox to transmit power to all four wheels, ensuring optimal performance and handling.

The Temerario has been spotted undergoing tests in full camouflage, hinting at its imminent debut. The design is likely to incorporate various styling elements consistent with Lamborghini's latest models. Additionally, the interior is expected to draw inspiration from the Revuelto, promising a blend of luxury and cutting-edge technology.
