Chevrolet Tahoe: What’s New in Upcoming 2025 Edition

SAUDI ARABIA : With muscular looks, the full-size truck-based SUV has plenty of features and space for conveniently hauling passengers and cargo.

• The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe features a revamped grille, new lighting elements and wheels.
• Interiors have undergone a thorough makeover with comfort features including a 17.7-inch display, 11-inch digital instrument, wireless charging, ventilated seats, etc.
• There are two engine options 5.3L and 6.2L on offer, producing 355hp and 420hp, respectively.

The sheer of the Chevrolet Tahoe is what attracts people the most and with the 2025 model year, the brand has given the SUV a mid-cycle facelift to enhance its appeal further. 

Slick Styling

The car still looks bulky with a wide stance and flowing block sides that appear clean and sleek, yet tall and chunky like an appropriate truck-based SUV. The grille is restyled while the lighting elements at the front are now bigger and more noticeable. 

The thinner headlights just below the hood opening are not headlights, they are LED daytime running lights, while the actual headlamps are smaller projector beams placed at the lower end of the grille. The Tahoe gets new 24-inch wheels which are the largest ever mounted on the SUV. The taillight setup has undergone a makeover as they now feature full LED.

Updated Interiors

The 2025 Tahoe features Sky Cool Gray interiors and incorporates features that make it convenient for the driver and passengers to connect with their devices. The most prominent highlight is the 17.7-inch diagonal touch screen at the centre to get access to numerous functionalities including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The car gets Google built-in services as standard while the 3-year subscription of OnStar One’s Essentials connected tech delivers information including real-time traffic updates. For more convenience, the car features an Electronic Precision Shifter and AutoSense Power Liftgate. 

The Tahoe also gets a Bose stereo system, 11-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone charging, ventilated front seats, 12-way power seat adjusters, heated second-row seats as well as two displays mounted behind the front seats for entertainment of the rear passengers.

In addition to comfort and convenience, the Tahoe integrates driver-assist technologies including lane-keep assist and automatic headlamps for the safety of the occupants. The High-Definition Surround Vision includes aspects like Intersection Turn Automatic Emergency Braking.

Better engine and towing ability

Under the hood lies two V8 options based on the trim chosen; the 5.3L Ecotec3 and 6.2L Ecotec3, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Where the former produces 355hp and 518 Nm, the bigger one churns out 420hp and 623 Nm of torque.

The brand has also included towing-assist features including a trailer-tyre monitoring system, a navigation system, which calculates the best routes depending on trailer size and a boat-ramp assist feature. The SUV has a towing capacity of up to 8400 pounds.

Launch Date, Pricing and Rivals

The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe is currently being sold in the US market at the starting price of US$ 60,000 which is equivalent to 225,000 SAR. Hence, when launched, one can expect similar pricing in the Saudi Arabia and UAE markets. The 2025 Tahoe competes against the Jeep Wagoneer, Ford Expedition and the Nissan Armada in its class.
