2025 Volvo XC90 Debuts

SAUDI ARABIA : A long-standing leader in the luxury SUV market, the Volvo XC90, is set to receive a major update in 2025. This SUV is known for its blend of elegance, safety, and advanced features.

Although it has largely maintained its design over the years, the new model presents significant changes. This marks its second major facelift in a decade, presenting automotive enthusiasts with a look and updated technology.

Volvo will offer the 2025 XC90 along with the new EX90. This marks its decision to continue producing petrol vehicles beyond its original plan to phase them out by the end of the decade. The exterior of the XC90 features certain design elements inspired by the EX30 and EX90, including new bumpers, slimmer headlights, and revised tail lights.

In the interiors, the XC90 continues to maintain its reputation for safety and comfort with several updates. Its new dashboard sports a more horizontal and taller design. This is complemented by an 11.2-inch infotainment screen with a floating design. Volvo has also integrated new storage solutions into the transmission tunnel. Now, the cabin features more soft-touch and textured materials, which enhances the overall experience for passengers.

In the 2025 XC90, the plug-in hybrid drivetrain is slightly detuned. Overall, the system output is 455 PS, and there are two 48-volt mild hybrid engine options to choose from.  Production of the updated model will begin in late 2024, and Volvo is likely to start delivering the vehicles soon after that. Automotive enthusiasts keenly await the details about the launch of this model in the Middle East.
