2025 BYD Seal 06 GT Power Packed Hatch Unveiled

SAUDI ARABIA : The 2025 iteration of the 2025 BYD Seal 06 GT has finally been unveiled and it looks very attractive. The GT is essentially a performance-oriented hatchback that is placed under the BYD Seal. 

2025 BYD Seal 06 GT: Variants & Price 

The Chinese auto manufacturer BYD has previewed its Seal 06 GT with first official pictures in order to set the mood for the upcoming full unveiling set for Friday, 30 August 2024. This electric hot hatch fits perfectly into BYD’s line of vehicles; it exists between the Dolphin and the Seal which means that there is something for everyone.

Although it is difficult to specify the exact value of the Seal 06 GT, it is expected that it will cost between ¥150,000 and ¥103,000 which will approximately be AED 77,000 to AED 100,000 in China during the official launch. To provide perspective, the current Seal model costs ¥179,800 which is nearly equivalent to AED 92,601 and the Dolphin model costs ¥99,800 or nearly equivalent to AED 51,399. 

2025 BYD Seal 06 GT: Powertrain 

The BYD Seal 06 GT has been unveiled to provide a great powertrain, according to the information disclosed by the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Prospective buyers can choose between two distinct configurations: a production version of the e-GT with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system that consists of a dual-motor system that outputs a total of 421 PS and a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) with a single motor that generates about 218 PS.

2025 BYD Seal 06 GT: Exterior & Design 

The production version of the BYD Seal 06 GT showcases a more refined and understated design compared to the bold aesthetics of the Ocean-M concept that previewed its appearance. Retaining signature elements such as full-width tail lights, notched headlights, and flush door handles, the Seal 06 GT presents a sleek and cohesive exterior that emphasizes elegance and aerodynamic efficiency. 

2025 BYD Seal 06 GT: Interiors 

The interior of BYD Seal 06 GT may just be revealed recently, but it can already be said that it is as contemporary as it is wide and panoramic. To some extent, the interior of the car remains ergonomic and modern with an emphasis on plant-inspired motifs, which allows little but comfortable space for the driver and other occupants. 

At the heart of the cabin, there is a large horizontal display, which is a control panel for most of the car’s functions related to multimedia and navigation systems as well as climate and other controls.
