Interior Design

• The 2025 D-Max design largely remains the same, not much has changed in the cockpit. There is a new display and changes in infotainment and feels a little more premium.
• The seats are offered with fabric upholstery in standard trims and leather options in higher variants complemented by striking red embroidery in the GT version which gives the cabin a premium feel.

Driving Position

• The driver’s seat is electrically adjustable in eight directions with lumbar support but manual adjustment for the passenger side but Isuzu couldn’t have provided both in electric. Still the seats allow comfort and optimal driving posture, quite good for long drives. 
• The steering wheel is manual tilt and height adjustment with multifunctional control, providing easy access to audio and cruise control settings without taking hands off the wheel.
• I liked the way the driver sits on a higher side, it feels elevated and gives superb visibility with the adjustable headlights for a commanding position
• The digital driver information display has easy access and offers all the vehicle info in real-time.

Passenger Comfort

• In the dual cabin system, the rear seats offer adequate legroom and headroom, with rear air conditioning vents to ensure passenger comfort even in hot climates like Saudi Arabia.
• USB charging ports are located at the right places and give you access easily allowing easy device charging during trips.
• The interior has a good upmarket feel, the premium that some of its key competitors have with efficient climate control systems, including manual or automatic air conditioning depending on the trim, to maintain a comfortable cabin temperature.
• Similarly the passenger seat is mostly the same, however, there is a USB C port at the back instead of USB A.
• Decent knee, head, and toe room at the back seat with a handle grab at the B pillar and utility features like a shopping bag holder behind the front seat and pockets at the seat, and decent storage on the doors and bottle holder, Alton with small armrest with two cup holders.

Storage

Ride and Handling 

• While the powertrain is the same, Isuzu has improved on some key driving aspects like addition of the adaptive cruise control. 
• While with the throttle application not being the smoothest, the steering wheel is a lot lighter. 
• It is still hydraulic and gives a good sense of what the front wheels are doing.
• The 11-meter turning circle radius is fine for overall maneuvering, especially around tight corners, and streets.
• In terms of refinement, this pickup is better to drive, because the seats are much softer.
• The independent double wishbone, coil spring suspension with stabilizer bar, and gas shock absorbers are quite forgiving.
• We also noticed the engine doesn’t feel that hard to accelerate, and the torque kicks in quickly, especially at higher speeds above 80–110 km/h.
• When it comes to the overall power and performance combination, honestly there is something more desirable from Isuzu, certainly a scope for improvement. But it does a decent job.
• Another key aspect that most buyers would like to know and appreciate is the off-road capability. The new D-Max certainly scores well in this department, with strong performance on rough tracks and extreme conditions, supported by its robust 4x4 variants that improve traction and control in challenging environments. There is selectable drive for 2WD and 4WD ranges.
