Which is the most value-for-money variant? 

We think the 5.7-liter R/T variant makes a lot of sense and it is worth spending the most money on it. Given that you get a bigger, more powerful engine for some extra money is worth it. 

What features does the Dodge Charger get? 

All the models of the Dodge Charger come with the following features and their charging point is a USB type C and has the following aspects; Infotainment control is with a standard 3-inch display that, like the electronic shifter, uses Dodge’s Uconnect 5 system, meaning that the car’s entertainment and its navigation is as advanced as it is easy to use. 

A rather interesting and useful feature is the 3-inch digital gauge cluster, which can be substituted with a 16-inch cluster in the upper trim levels, making the car even more interesting and just perfect in terms of handling and options provided to a driver. 

Other options are the SiriusXM, satellite radio with in-dash navigation, and the use of Amazon Alexa for voice control. Although Dodge has yet not stated this, it will not be a surprise if the Charger comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which means that drivers can connect their smartphones to the car without wires. There are two options for the Alpine stereo system for people who want a better sound quality, one of which comes with seventeen and a half speakers.

How spacious is it? 

The interior of the Dodge Charger is a blend of retro and contemporary elements, designed to appeal to both long-time fans and modern drivers alike. The dashboard design takes cues from the late-1960s Charger, featuring a layered aesthetic that nods to the vehicle's storied past. The pistol-grip shifter for the automatic transmission is another throwback to earlier Charger models, reinforcing the muscle car's heritage. 

On the flip side, modern technology abounds, with digital displays and customizable ambient lighting reminding you that this is a vehicle built for today. The front bucket seats appear roomy and well-cushioned, perfect for long drives or spirited journeys. 

However, if you're frequently driving with more than one passenger, you might want to opt for the four-door version, as it offers a roomier rear seat than the two-door coupe. Both versions benefit from a practical rear liftback design, which offers easier access to the cargo area than a traditional trunk. This setup ensures that the Charger has plenty of storage space, making it as practical as it is powerful.

What powertrain options are available?

Under its bonnet, the Charger features a twin-turbocharged inline-six engine referred to as Hurricane. This engine has already been utilized in the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer which are SUVs. In the Charger, the basic model is Six Pack S. O., which produces 420 horsepower, whereas Sixpack H. O. offers an awe-inspiring 550 horsepower. 

But that too is not true because even the H. O. doesn’t have the most powerful Charger. That privilege goes to the electric Charger Daytona which, in certain settings, can unleash up to 670 horsepower, but that deserves an article on its own. 

The non-hybrid Charger uses a 3.6-litre gasoline engine and all-wheel drive for maximum traction and control which are important in different terrains. It also comes with an eight-speed auto gear-shift, which is responsive, and provides smooth shifts together with commendable performance.

What’s the mileage of the Dodge Charger?

You can expect a mileage of between 8kmpl and about 10 kmpl with the Dodge Charger. The numbers aren’t flattering but given the sheer performance and fun factor on offer, we think the mileage isn’t all that bad.

Should you buy the Dodge Charger?

For the individual seeking the best four-door saloon car that offers spacious accommodation, great performance, and functionality for use on a daily basis then the Dodge Charger is probably the best car for you. The Charger type was expanded to a widebody platform thus the Charger was made all the more flexible, just like it did with the Challenger. The Charger may be less impressive in terms of top speed but, for the most part, the enhancements in the acceleration, cornering grip, and brakes outweigh that particular compromise. What you get is a car that feels more responsive on the road, turns better, and stops better – which we don’t think is an unfair exchange.
