Volvo has taken the wraps off its latest luxury hybrid sedan — the new S90. It comes with major upgrades inside and out, showing off a bold design, advanced safety systems, and smart hybrid powertrains. 

This refreshed version aims to appeal to drivers who want sleek Scandinavian design, cleaner mobility, and class-leading comfort. The S90 is an important part of Volvo’s product strategy in Asia, as it bridges the gap between conventional and electric models in the lineup.

Bold, Clean and Sophisticated Styling

The exterior of the new S90 reflects Volvo’s shift toward electrification and modern design. With its new sculpted bonnet, redesigned front bumper and wings, and bolder front grille, the S90 now looks sharper and more dynamic. 

The Thor’s Hammer headlights have also been updated with Matrix-design LED technology for improved night-time visibility. At the back, the updated taillights flow seamlessly into the rear bodywork for a clean and refined finish.

Adding to its modern luxury, Volvo offers the S90 in a wide range of paint options, including two new shades—Aurora Silver and Mulberry Red. It also comes with new diamond-cut alloy wheels that combine polished aluminium and high-gloss black surfaces for a strong visual contrast.

Customers will be able to choose from two types of hybrid systems:

Plug-in hybrid:

Mild hybrid:

• Turbocharged petrol engine.
• Front-wheel drive.
• Better fuel efficiency.

Volvo data shows that nearly 48% of distances driven by its plug-in hybrids are fully electric, helping owners cut emissions without compromising range or power.

Volvo’s strong focus on safety continues with the S90. It has an advanced safety cage and includes Volvo’s Pilot Assist system. This driving assist technology helps maintain distance, follow lane markings, and stop the car automatically in traffic.
