SAUDI ARABIA : Toyota showcased two new electric SUVs at the recent Auto China 2024, specifically designed for the Chinese market. Developed in collaboration with Chinese partners, the bZ3C and bZ3X cater to different driver preferences.
The bZ3C, with its sleek design and crossover style, targets younger buyers. It embodies a "reboot" concept, hinting at a fresh take on electric mobility.The bZ3X, developed with Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC), offers a more traditional SUV look. Its silhouette might remind some of the popular Fortuner model.
Both SUVs will boast advanced driver-assistance systems, but specifics about their electric powertrains and launch dates remain under wraps. Pricing information is also unavailable yet.
While currently exclusive to China, the possibility of a wider release for the bZ3C and bZ3X remains to be seen. Auto China 2024 also saw Toyota showcasing other exciting vehicles, including the Land Cruiser Prado hybrid EV and the sporty GR Yaris.
These new electric SUVs are the refined versions of concepts unveiled last year, highlighting Toyota's commitment to the growing Chinese electric vehicle market.
