News Generation Dodge Charger Pursuit Teased; And It’s Eye Catching

SAUDI ARABIA : Dodge is all set to turn a new chapter in its history by soon unveiling the next generation of the Charger Pursuit. For now, the brand has teased the aforementioned car and it looks hot! 

• The new Dodge Charger will replace both the four and two-door Charger 
• Dodge also has a Charger for the special forces in the pipeline 
• Dodge is also gearing up to launch an electric version of its legendary car 

Exterior Highlights 

Unlike the two-door coupe that Dodge enthusiasts are familiar with, the Pursuit will be based on the four-door Charger sedan, catering specifically to the needs of law enforcement. Visually, it will stand out with a distinctive white-and-black livery that’s instantly recognizable, complemented by a light bar mounted on the roof to signal its authoritative presence on the road. 

The exterior design is expected to be functional and rugged, much like its predecessors. The previous Charger Pursuit models were equipped with practical features such as steel wheels designed for durability, heavy-duty brakes to handle high-stress situations, and a vinyl-upholstered rear bench for easy maintenance. Additionally, the vehicle’s interior was fitted with police-specific seats, engineered for comfort during long hours on patrol.

Engine Options 

Even though only teasers about the Charger Pursuit have been posted on social media, it is believed that it will have an electric version given the trend with electrification currently prevalent in the market. This electric model is expected to be offered in different trimates with the R/T trim returning power of about 456 horsepower while the Scat Pack trim takes that figure to 590 horsepower. Such power levels should be enough to offer a raw might for police chase and other similar case scenarios.

Nevertheless, for departments that have their preference for the gasoline engine, Dodge is expected to go for a 3.0-litre Hurricane straight-six twin-turbocharged engine. This engine will come in two configurations: The first one is capable of generating up to 550 horsepower while the second one offers 420 horsepower. Both options will come mated with an eight-speed auto gearbox that effectively sends power to the wheels which increases the ability of the vehicle to respond to danger quickly.

Launch & Availability

As Dodge gets ready to release the next-generation Charger Pursuit, the vehicle is set to standardize the manufacturer's dominance in the police vehicle segment. Following the increased success rates of the prior models, this type of model will be expected to also bring a combination of high performance, reliability, and present-day features that suit the sheriff’s departments.
