MG Motors Launches the 2025 MG4 EV in UAE

SAUDI ARABIA : MG is actively expanding its electric portfolio in the Middle East. The launch of the MG4 compact electric hatchback strengthens the MG electric vehicle range further, offering a wider options for the customers.

Inter Emirates Motors, the authorized distributor of the British cars, MG Motor, has launched the MG4 electric hatchback in the UAE. The electric hatchback comes in five variants and 4 different battery pack options.

MG4 EV: Price

The MG4 EV’s prices in the UAE start from AED 103,000 and go up to AED 138,000.

MG4 EV: Dimensions

The MG4 electric hatchback comes with a spacious cabin, which comfortably accommodates 5 people, including the driver. It comes with a spacious trunk at the back with 363 liters of storage capacity, it can be further increased to 1,165 liters with the 2nd-row seats folded.

MG4 EV: Powertrain Configuration

The MG4 EV is an electric hatchback which comes in 4 different powertrain and battery pack configurations, each delivering different power figures and ranges:  

1. The Comfort variant with a 51 kWh battery pack delivers a peak output of 168 horsepower and claims to deliver a range of up to 350 km WLTP range. It comes with a rear-wheel drive configuration.
2. The Comfort variant with a 64 kWh battery pack variant makes slightly more power 202 horses and provides a range of 465 km. It is also an RWD.
3. The Luxury variant with 64 kWh battery has the same 202 horses under the hood but a range of 450 km.
4. The Luxury variant with a 77 kWh battery pack produces a maximum output of 242 horsepower and has a range of up to 530 km. It also has an RWD configuration.
5. The 64 kWh XPower battery pack variant is the most powerful with a peak output of 429 horsepower and a range of up to 400km. It comes with an all-wheel drive (AWD) configuration.

The Comfort and Luxury variants can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in under 7.6 seconds, but the XPower variant does it in just 4 seconds. The Comfort variants and the Luxury 64 kWh variant have a top speed of 160 kmph, the Luxury 77 kWh has a 180 kmph top speed and the XPower variant has a 200 kmph top speed.

With a fast charger, the MG4 EV can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 35 minutes, which not only helps make the charging process quicker but also reduces range anxiety.

MG4 EV: Exterior Design & Features

The MG4 EV is a compact hatchback with a futuristic design. It features a sleek and sporty look, and its flowing body lines enhance the sportiness even more. It has sharp LED headlights and a unique front grille that makes it stand out. 

At the rear, the MG4 features twin spoilers and a carbon-fiber finish diffuser. Additionally, the Comfort variant comes with 17-inch alloys whereas the Luxury and XPower variants have 18-inch alloy wheels. Overall, the electric hatchback has attractive looks unique and will surely attract a lot of attention on the road.
