The automaker has unveiled some sneak peek images of the new look B-segment SUV, which was first launched in Japan.

Engine Options
The facelifted Honda HR-V comes with a familiar proven powertrain from its pre-refresh design. In particular, matted with a naturally aspirated 1. Turbocharged 5-liter Atkinson cycle engine coupled with a starter motor generator, an e-CVT and two electric motors. This makes this hybrid system generate about a combined output of around 131 PS and 253 Nm of torque.
According to Honda, this car can consume as little as 25 litres of fuel. At 6 km/l, the car is very fuel efficient, ideal for areas with much traffic light densities and highways as well. In this configuration, the petrol engine is mostly used as a charging device and the front wheels are powered by a much larger electric motor.
A lock-up clutch system involves operation at higher speeds for direct engagement of the engine’s power to the wheels and this has been proved to enhance mechanical efficiency, particularly at highway speeds.

While the vehicle is expected to make waves in the Thai market and potentially other regions in Asia, its arrival in the Middle East remains uncertain, leaving UAE fans to wait for further announcements.
