All-New Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Debuts In Saudi Arabia

SAUDI ARABIA : Launched by Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, the authorized distributor of Toyota in Saudi Arabia, the prices of the new Land Cruiser Prado start at 193,775 SAR. 

• The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is offered in five petrol variants and two diesel variants in Saudi Arabia.
• Both engine options – a 2.4-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.8-litre diesel – are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. 
• The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado takes its design inspiration from the Land Cruiser J60 series model from the bygone era. 

Expanding its SUV lineup in Saudi Arabia, Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, who looks after the distribution of Toyota vehicles in Saudi Arabia, has launched the all-new Land Cruiser Prado in the country. Launched with two powertrain options across seven variants, the new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has been introduced in the UAE at a starting price of 193,775 SAR.

The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has been launched in seven variants, of which five are petrol and two are diesel-powered.

What Rests Under Hood? 

There are two powertrain options across the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado lineup in Saudi Arabia. The TX1, TXL-1, TXL-3, ADV and ADV First Edition variants are powered by a 2.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine (267 bhp and 430 Nm). On the other hand, the TX-2 and TXL-2 variants get a 2.8-litre diesel engine (201 bhp and 500 Nm). All the variants come with an 8-speed automatic transmission. 

Know About Exterior & Features

Inspired by the Toyota Land Cruiser J60 series from the 1980s, the new Land Cruiser Prado has a retro-themed design with a traditional upright stance. All the variants come with 18-inch alloy wheels, a heritage grille with Toyota lettering and rectangular all-LED headlamps and tail lamps, save for the ADV First Edition which gets exclusive round-themed headlamps.

Know About Interior, Features & Safety  

The modern-looking interior of the new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado gets a host of rectangular-themed elements and traditional old-school buttons in the centre console. Apart from new-age 12.-inch TFT screens for the instrument console and touchscreen infotainment system, the Land Cruiser Prado also gets tri-zone automatic climate control with rear AC vents, an electronic parking brake, a 10-speaker audio system and head-up display. 

Other functions include powered front seats, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, memory function for the driver’s seat, sunroof and a cooled centre console box. 

The standard safety features available across the entire lineup of Land Cruiser Prado in Saudi Arabia include seven airbags, ABS with EBD, crawl control, hill descent control, tyre pressure monitoring system, reverse parking camera and front and rear parking sensors. 

Some ADAS features, such as adaptive cruise control, pre-collision system, lane trace assist and adaptive high beam, are also offered as standard. However, the higher-spec variants get additional features like a 3D multi-terrain monitor, multi-terrain select, blind spot monitor and safe exit assist.
