2025 Lexus LX Unveiled With New Hybrid Engine

SAUDI ARABIA  : Lexus has launched the 2025 Lexus LX, introducing a new hybrid version, the LX 700h. This brings the brand’s electrified lineup to 12 models. Lexus, along with the hybrid, adds a new off-road-focused trim called the Overtrail, available in multiple configurations.

2025 Lexus LX 700h: Powertrain & Performance

The LX 700h is a nickel-metal hydride battery system at its core. The 3.4-litre twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine generates 457 horsepower and 790 Nm of torque, delivering impressive power. With its 10-speed automatic transmission, it balances performance and efficiency, offering a fuel economy of 9.9 km/l.  

2025 Lexus LX: Overtrail Trim for Off-road Enthusiasts 

The new Overtrail trim is designed for those who crave adventure. It features front and rear locking differentials, 33-inch all-terrain tyres, and a 2,400W AC inverter. 

Visually, it stands out with matte grey accents, black overfenders, and a front skid plate. Buyers can choose between two- and three-row configurations for added flexibility.  

2025 Lexus LX: GA-F Platform

Built on the GA-F platform, which was introduced in 2022, the LX 700h benefits from a robust three-cross frame. This frame supports the hybrid system without affecting the SUV’s off-road capabilities. The platform is designed to improve weight distribution, enhancing both on-road and off-road performance.

Lexus introduces motor-driven power to the low range in the hybrid LX 700h, enhancing its off-road performance. The Multi-Terrain Select feature, combined with Crawl Control and Downhill Assist Control, ensures the SUV is well-equipped for rough and challenging terrains.
