2025 Kia Sportage L Introduced In The UAE Market

The 2025 Kia Sportage L is offered in the UAE in three distinct trims: LX, EX, and SX. Pricing for this model begins at AED 99,654 for the SX variant equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo engine. The top-tier LX trim, which includes more premium features, is priced at AED 138,495. For those opting for the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, the price starts at AED 113,400 and climbs to AED 149,100, depending on the selected configuration. 

Dimensions

The evolution of the Kia Sportage L for 2025 makes it attractive primarily for its dimensions: its wheelbase is significantly longer than that of competitors – namely, it is 155 mm longer than the wheelbase of the previous model. The above results in a larger body size which in turn means more interior space or comfort and versatility, particularly for the family car type.

Powertrains

To improve the performance and at the same time reduce fuel consumption the Korean car manufacturer Kia has fitted the Sportage L with two adequately potent engines. The first one is a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces 233 horsepower and the second option is a 1.5-litre turbo engine which makes a commendable 197 horsepower of engine strength. 

The two engines are mated to an 8-speed auto gearbox which certainly offers crisp and smooth gear shift mechanisms.

Features

The 2025 Kia Sportage L is equipped with many packages throughout the packages and this makes the buyer select their preferred level of luxury and comfort. Some of the base Grand required features of the Grand Sportage LX include daytime running lights, LED headlamps, a roof rack, and 17-inch alloy wheels besides the rear spoiler. 

With the EX trim level, features such as mirror-mounted indicators, new 18-inch alloy wheels, and an optional panoramic roof are added to make the look of the car more appealing and achieve higher functionality. On the exterior, whilst the SX level is given a wider track its 19-inch alloy wheels and powered rear spoiler set it apart from lower-frills models.

Safety Features

As we have come to expect from Kia, safety did not take a backseat in the Sportage L and it has quite a lot of safety aspects to boast of. The SX trim, for instance, gets standard key safety technologies that include stability control, front airbags, parking sensors, and a rear-view camera that ensures that the driver maneuvers the vehicle safely. 

Side, front, and curtain airbags are also included in the safety feature of the car with the SX and EX trims being enhanced with the feature. For the SX model, additional options are provided by adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, surround-view monitor, and blind-spot monitoring.
