What’s New in the Chevrolet Tahoe 2025: A Detailed Overview

Engine and performance

The Chevrolet Tahoe 2025 should come to KSA with the familiar 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V8 engine options. The 5.3-liter N/A V8 currently produces 355 hp and 518 Nm of torque, and is mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the more potent 6.2-liter V8 makes 420 hp and 624 Nm of torque – still mated to the same transmission.

The base V8 can propel the Tahoe to 100 kmph in less than 8 seconds, which is no mean feat. It will eventually allow this big Chevrolet SUV to reach a top speed of around 185 kmph. When equipped with the 6.2-liter V8, the current-gen Tahoe can do 0-100 kmph in around 6 seconds. Meanwhile, its top speed is in the neighborhood of 200 kmph.

The sportier variants of the 2025 Tahoe will have stiffer suspension and rollbars. This will allow them to handle corners better, though their sheer bulk will mean restraint becomes necessary.
