As the brand’s most affordable car in KSA, the X50 is the gateway to the whole Jetour brand. Even though small SUVs and crossovers are popular amongst buyers, the low-tier options may not always be the best pick. Can the 2025 Jetour X50 break this mold with conviction? Let us find out.

    Variants & Price

The 2025 Jetour X50 Premiere Edition (or Premium variant) in KSA costs SAR 66,299, which includes VAT as well. Jetour KSA has two variants of the new X50 on its official website – LUX and Premium (or Premiere). Ultimately, the variants and prices mentioned here are subject to availability. The National Motors Supplies Company is the official distributor of Jetour in KSA.

    Exterior

The Jetour X50’s exterior styling is based on the brand’s so-called “Urban Aesthetic” design language. The front of the X50 gets “Eagle Eye” LED headlights with stylish LED DRLs, giving it a sharp look. This is followed by a “waterfall-inspired” main grille, large ‘JETOUR’ branding, and a sculpted bumper with side intakes.

The rear also features the company branding, along with sleek taillights, a roof spoiler, and fake vents on the bumper. The X50’s side profile is not the most unique, but the staggered-looking arrangement of the door handles is interesting. There is a bit of chrome on the doors and C-pillars, lower-body black cladding, plus 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels.

Despite the suave-sounding design philosophy, the Jetour X50 looks unassuming at first glance – not unlike most other modern crossovers. Is it bad-looking? No. Will it win any beauty pageants? Also, no. The X50 has a wheelbase measuring 2,601 mm and a minimum boot capacity of 398 liters. It is 4,397 mm long, 1,841 mm wide, and 1,654 mm tall.

    Interior

Depending on the market, the Jetour X50 is offered with two distinctly different interior color themes. There is a dark & sporty black/red theme and a light & airy blue/grey theme – the latter amplifies the sense of premiumness and space. The leatherette upholstery feels high-quality (considering the price), and so does the textured material on the dashboard and the faux stitching.

The seats have decent padding and thick side bolsters, almost appearing like sport bucket seats. There is ample headroom and kneeroom at the back, while the driver’s seat is power-operated and there are front & rear cupholders. Other useful features include cruise control, push-button start, wireless charging, plus tilt & telescopic adjustment for the steering column.

The Jetour X50 also gets automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, automatic headlights & wipers, and a 6-speaker audio system. The digital display setup includes a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touch-infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. Unfortunately, these screens bear noticeably bulky bezels that age them immediately.

This cabin has gloss black and metallic trim, which looks good but can pick up scratches easily. The sloped dashboard blends seamlessly with the angular AC vents, but the touch-operated HVAC controls can get distracting whilst driving. On the plus side, the low dash and large windows make driving the X50 in narrow lanes quite easy.

    Engine and performance

The 2025 Jetour X50 is offered with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. In the Saudi market, this engine has been tuned to produce around 145 hp. This same motor in the UAE market produces up to 154 hp and 230 Nm of torque. Nevertheless, the Jetour X50 is front-wheel drive and comes with a 6-speed DCT automatic.

The X50 gets front & rear disc brakes for optimum stopping power. It also gets front MacPherson struts and rear multi-link independent suspension. While this setup is not uncommon among cars in this segment, it often leads to predictable body control and good ride quality. The Normal, Eco, and Sport drive modes offer slightly more control over the car’s performance.

    Safety

There are several safety nannies on the Jetour X50 – the most basic of which are ABS, EBD, and Brake Assist. The other category includes hill-start assist, electronic stability program, traction control system, tire-pressure monitoring, parking sensors, and a rearview camera. The X50 comes with an electronic parking brake with Auto Hold.

Where some of its rivals feature more advanced safety tech, the Jetour X50 is limited to just Level 1 ADAS. This brings with it items such as Door Open Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Rear Traffic Alert. On the other hand, the X50 gets a 360-degree panoramic HD camera system – useful when trying to park in tight spaces.

    Conclusion

The Jetour X50 is meant for those who want a spacious 5-seat crossover with most of the basics covered. Its interior is suitably well-designed with some quality furnishings and a couple of upholstery colors. The X50 is not the priciest car in the segment nor is it the most exciting one. However, it does come with a fantastic 10-year/1-million-kilometer warranty!
