Boring Interior with Stiff Ride in Urban Areas
The 2.3 l eco boost engine with 270 horsepower being very powerful can result in higher fuel consumption which can be a concerning factor for those who cover long distances regularly. The interior with an 8 inch touch screen entertainment system sometimes is very slow to respond and not as intuitive as other systems. Also the texture of the interior is not that premium because of the use of hard plastics. Also the ride can feel a little stiff on uneven roads which can be an issue for comfort during long journeys. Also the large size of the Ranger can make it difficult to ride in urban areas.
