SAUDI ARABIA : Volkswagen is broadening its range of sporty electric vehicles with the introduction of the new ID.7 GTX sedan. This latest model features a robust 340hp dual-motor system, promising an exhilarating driving experience. The ID.7 GTX joins the ranks of Volkswagen’s other high-performance electric models, such as the ID.3 hatchback, ID.4 SUV, ID.5 SUV-coupe, ID.Buzz MPV, and the ID.7 Tourer estate.

    The ID.7 GTX’s chassis and driving dynamics have been refined to manage the increased power effectively. It comes with a sportier steering setup and offers the option of Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), providing customizable handling for varied driving conditions. 

    The exterior design is also sportier, featuring a unique GTX front bumper, LED ‘arrowhead’ daytime running lights, and black gloss trim, enhancing its dynamic look. Inside, the sedan mimics the interior of the GTX Tourer, complete with sports seats adorned with red stitching and GTX branding.

    Volkswagen ID.7 GTX Future Plans and Market Expansion

    While Volkswagen has not exactly revealed which markets will get this car, the brand does have some interesting expansion plans in place. Through some of its initiatives and programmes, the brand is aiming to launch mass-market electric vehicles in a lot of developing countries by 2026, highlighting the company’s commitment to expanding its global EV footprint. 

    A lot of brands have already pledged to go all electric in the recent future and while Volkswagen has not explicitly done that, the brand is aiming towards going electric more than before through this step.
