SAUDI ARABIA : The ideal full-size family SUV received some impressive updates for model year 2025, including fresh exterior and interior styling.

The Chevrolet Suburban is a family-focused SUV hauling people and cargo since 1935. The latest luxed-up and tech-laden model with revamped exteriors has redefined its on-road demeanour giving the rivals serious competition.

Refreshed Styling

The new Suburban features a bold design with an all-new grille and signature lighting. The restyled sleek LED DRLs and the headlights at both front ends are shared with the sibling Tahoe. Similarly, the SUV also gets a 24-inch wheel option like the Tahoe, along with new colour options that would delight the onlookers.

At the back, the new LED tail lights have also been redesigned giving it a sleeker look.

Interiors crafted for big families

One of the largest SUVs in the market, the Suburban offers a large cabin with plenty of room for passengers and cargo. Its three-row seating arrangement is good enough for eight adults with the large cargo area behind the third row that can easily absorb a family’s road trip equipment.

Besides refreshed styling improvements in the form of perforated inserts, leather seating and wood decor, the Chevy’s biggest SUV also gets a new 17.7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit in the centre, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The 11-inch digital instrument cluster is tucked away in front of the driver, offering all kinds of information related to the journey.

To make the journey more convenient, the 2025 Suburban also gets heated and ventilated seats, 12-way power adjustability and an 8-year OnStar One Essentials subscription for safety and connectivity including roadside assistance, remote access, automatic crash response, etc. Apart from this, the car also features General Motors’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system.

Safety is further enhanced by Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Automatic Parking Assist, Reverse Automatic Braking with Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Zone Steering Assist with Trailering.

Multiple engine options for diverse needs

The quintessential full-size 2025 Chevrolet Suburban is crafted to handle big families, big loads, and diverse towing needs. For that, it gets three engine options; the petrol 5.3-liter V8 the 6.2L V8 which produces 355hp and 420hp, and the 3.0L Duramax diesel powertrain that pumps out 305hp. A 10-speed automatic transmission comes as standard. 

The 2025 Suburban also comes with robust towing ability as the rear-wheel drive setup with a 5.3L engine can tow up to 8,300 pounds. On the other hand, the four-wheel drive system with the 3.0L diesel engine can tow a maximum of 7,800 pounds. 

Launch Date, Pricing and Rivals

The price of the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban starts at US$ 64,000 (240,000 SAR) with a launch expected in other markets including Saudi Arabia and UAE early next year. The 2025 Chevrolet Suburban rivals the Ford Expedition, Toyota Sequoia and Nissan Armada.
