Thierry Sabbagh to be the New Divisional Vice President, President KSA, Middle East at Nissan

SAUDI ARABIA : In a strategic move, Nissan announced the appointment of Thierry Sabbagh as the new Divisional Vice President, President KSA, Middle East – Nissan, INFINITI. Thierry Sabbagh, a proficient industry expert, will now play a vital role in driving the strategic direction and operation of Nissan and INFINITI brands across the Middle East region. He will be leading the business development for the GCC and other key markets for the Japanese automotive giant.

Sabbagh isn’t new to Nissan as he has been holding the position of President of Nissan Saudi Arabia, INFINITI Middle East, and Managing Director of Nissan Middle East in the past. The development and accomplishment of Nissan and INFINITI in the region significantly underwrote his leadership. In the newly appointed designation, Sabbagh brings a wealth of expertise with his two decades of vision spanning sales, marketing, brand management, planning, and business development operations across the MENA region.

With his revised role, Sabbagh will report to Leon Dorssers, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales for the AMIEO region. Strategic commitment to the Middle East region underlines Thierry's expanded role at Nissan. The exaggerated track record of Thierry demonstrates Nissan's dedication to delivering peculiar excellence in all aspects of their operations. Dorssers said that they look forward to Thierry’s continued contributions as they work towards their long-term vision at Nissan.Sabbagh joined Nissan in 2018 as Director of Sales. The brand's sales were being driven across the Gulf, Levant, and North Africa markets. He has been in the leadership capacity at Nissan Middle East as Managing Director since 2019, followed by being the President of Nissan Saudi Arabia, INFINITI Middle East from 2022 to till date.

Academically, Sabbagh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Hotel Management in Marketing from the University of West London. He was awarded by an executive certification of Leadership with Finance from Hayward Business School and Global Executive Training from Wharton Executive Education. By Forbes Middle East in the Global Meets Local 2023, he ranked among the top 50 business leaders, exhibiting his industry standing and leadership acumen. 

Several executive appointments were also announced simultaneously within Nissan’s AMIEO Region, indicating the company’s willingness to strengthen its leadership across key markets.
