Skoda has provided another glimpse of its forthcoming compact SUV, showcasing the rear-end design. The SUV is set to debut in early 2025, with sales commencing by March 2025. This new compact SUV, still unnamed, will be built on a shortened version of the MQB A0 IN platform, the same foundation as the Kushaq, Slavia, Virtus, and Taigun.
The teaser highlights a pronounced character line extending along the vehicle’s length, seamlessly blending into the tail lamps. The SUV will feature horizontally aligned LED tail lamps and a vertical boot design.

Spy photos have given us a sneak peek at the SUV’s overall silhouette, which will share components like the steering wheel, gear knob, instrument cluster, and HVAC controls with the Kushaq and Slavia.
This compact SUV is likely to utilize the same front doors as the Kushaq, but the rear doors will be significantly shorter, as the vehicle is about 230mm shorter overall. The rear overhang will also be much tighter compared to the Kushaq, allowing the compact SUV to fit within the crucial four-meter length limit.

The upcoming Skoda sub-4m SUV is anticipated to be powered exclusively by the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine (115 PS/178 Nm) from the Kushaq. It is expected to be available with both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options.
