SAUDI ARABIA : Elevating its presence in the virtual world, Skoda has unveiled its best-ever electric sports car concept, the Vision Gran Turismo. Exclusively designed for the Gran Turismo car racing game by PlayStation, the new Skoda Gran Turismo supercar seeks inspiration from the 1957 Skoda 1100 OHC Spider and is projected as an all-electric supercar concept. 

The new Skoda Gran Turismo concept measures 4.41m long, 1.95m wide, and 0.95m tall while having a curb weight of 1,300 kg. This Skoda virtual sports car has an elongated hood and aerodynamic curves on the outside, a carbon fiber steering wheel, and a streamlined digital cockpit with a crystal stone power meter on the inside. The Skoda Gran Turismo concept car also gets a rearview mirror and distance sensors for driver safety. 

While the vibrant exterior and futuristic interior are its talking points, the new Skoda Gran Turismo concept car for PS5 is grabbing attention for its electrifying performance numbers. Powered by an 87kWh lithium-ion battery and a quad electric motor setup with one motor for each wheel, the Skoda Gran Turismo concept claims 1,088 bhp of maximum power and 1,020 Nm of maximum torque. 

Besides its exhilarating performance numbers, the Skoda Gran Turismo concept also claims to be a driver’s delight with its optimized torque distribution and a pushrod suspension similar to Formula E cars. These features enhance the driving dynamics of the virtual sports car from Skoda by lowering its center of gravity and reducing its body roll.
