News Nissan Truck Spotted And It Looks Properly Rugged!

SAUDI ARABIA :  New images of the upcoming Nissan truck have come up and it looks properly boxy and rugged, ready to take on almost anything you throw at it. Will it replace the Navara? Here’s what we think: 

• The upcoming truck will likely be available in 2 engine options & a plug-in hybrid 
• A worthy rival for the forthcoming Nissan truck could be the Toyota Hilux 
• The upcoming car could be sold in China only 

A fresh Nissan pickup truck appears to be on the horizon, as suggested by leaked images that recently surfaced online. These images reveal a rugged, boxy design paired with considerable dimensions, indicating that Nissan is gearing up for a major release. The truck, named the Nissan Yuanye Z9, seems to be intended for exclusive sale in China. 

This new model will take over from the 'D23' Navara, which has been Nissan's flagship pickup in China since 2017. With this upcoming release, Nissan is poised to further solidify its position in the highly competitive pickup truck market, aiming to attract a growing audience in this segment.

Exterior

In terms of size, the new Chinese-market pick-up is a rather large 5,520mm long – longer than the U.S.-market Nissan Frontier (5,692mm) but slightly shorter than the current Navara dual cab (5,260mm). The Yuanye Z9 has a wheelbase of around 3,130mm, which outstrips rivals such as the Mitsubishi Triton (5,320mm).

Engine Options

The future Yuanye Z9 version shall be accompanied by various engines, which customers can choose from depending on the power they desire. Launch & Availability

The Nissan Navara together with its successor in the conventional market as the Yuanye Z9 is marketed within China through the Zhengzhou Nissan franchise. Dongfeng, Nissan’s joint-venture partner, also continues to sell locally assembled rebadged Navara along with an electric version of the vehicle. 

As for the Yuanye Z9, it is still unknown whether it will have a global release since the emphasis is clearly on China, but there is not enough information on this model. The Middle East currently has Nissan’s new range that includes Sunny, Altima the new Patrol, Kicks, X-Trail, X-Terra, Pathfinder, Patrol Safari, the Z, and the Urvan.
