A fresh Nissan pickup truck appears to be on the horizon, as suggested by leaked images that recently surfaced online. These images reveal a rugged, boxy design paired with considerable dimensions, indicating that Nissan is gearing up for a major release. The truck, named the Nissan Yuanye Z9, seems to be intended for exclusive sale in China.
This new model will take over from the 'D23' Navara, which has been Nissan's flagship pickup in China since 2017. With this upcoming release, Nissan is poised to further solidify its position in the highly competitive pickup truck market, aiming to attract a growing audience in this segment.
Exterior
In terms of size, the new Chinese-market pick-up is a rather large 5,520mm long – longer than the U.S.-market Nissan Frontier (5,692mm) but slightly shorter than the current Navara dual cab (5,260mm). The Yuanye Z9 has a wheelbase of around 3,130mm, which outstrips rivals such as the Mitsubishi Triton (5,320mm).
