Audi’s Upcoming EVs Could Miss Out On The Iconic Logo In China!

SAUDI ARABIA :Yes, you read that right! As many as 9 upcoming Audi electric cars could be launched without its iconic four-ring logo in the country of China. Here is why that might happen: 

• Online reports suggest that this may be happening because of Audi’s partnership with Chinese manufacturer SAIC Moto
• SAIC Moto (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation) is one of China’s leading manufacturer 
• How Audi will then brand its cars, is a question that remains to be answered as of now 

Audi’s new range of electric cars in China might just be sold without its iconic four-ring logo, something a lot of car enthusiasts like us have grown up watching. 

Why this step? 

Audi’s upcoming EVs in China will be co-developed with SAIC Moto, which stands for Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation. Now why this step, you may ask? You see, such Chinese brands do not have the best reputation in terms of build quality and in terms of how unreliable they are. So through the decision to not use its iconic logo, Audi might be looking to detach its name a little bit from these cars, lest something should go wrong.   

So what is the solution? 

Audi has as many as 9 models in the pipeline till the year 2030. So how will the German automotive manufacturer brand its cars till then?
