SAUDI ARABIA : Mini John Cooper Works Electric and Aceman have been unveiled globally. With an impressive performance, good driving range, and attractive looks, the electric hot hatch retains its iconic design.

Mini has officially launched the 2025 Mini John Cooper Works Electric and Aceman at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. Even in their electric avatar, the Mini John Cooper Works Electric and Aceman remain the hot hatch they always were, providing a good combination of performance, handling, features, range, and of course those eye-candy looks.

2025 Mini John Cooper Works Electric and Aceman: Powertrain Configuration

The 2025 Mini John Cooper Works Electric and Aceman both come with a front wheel drive (FWD) configuration and are both equipped with the same powertrain. The all-electric motor delivers a peak output of 250 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque (254 bhp and 251 lb-ft of torque). 

The electric motor makes the Mini John Cooper Works Electric accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 5.9 seconds, whereas the Mini John Cooper Works Aceman does it in 6.4 seconds. Both cars have a top speed limited to 200kmph. 

2025 Mini John Cooper Works Electric and Aceman: Battery & Range

Both the Minis come with the same 54.2kWh battery pack that provides a claimed range of about 404 km on the Mini John Cooper Works Electric and promises a range of about 391 km on a single charge. 

Charging the Mini EVs isn’t an issue either as both cars support 95kW fast charging. 

The fast charger boosts up the battery from 10% to 80% in just 30 mins. Providing a good range and a quick charging time 

2025 Mini John Cooper Works Electric and Aceman: Exterior Design & Features

The 2025 Mini John Cooper Works Electric and Aceman models retain the signature Mini design and are clearly identifiable as one. However, with a few design tweaks, they now look sportier than before. The dual-tone color scheme has the roof and mirrors in contrasting colors, which makes the car a bit more funky and gains attention on the road. 

The Mini JCW Electric is equipped with 18-inch wheels and the Mini JCW Aceman has bigger 19-inch wheels. Along with complementing the overall look of the cars, these wheels also enhance its already good handling.

Here is a list of what it gets including Automatic speed and distance control, a Mini Navigation package with 3D visualization and augmented view, Steering support and Lane Keeping Assist, a Mini Driving Assistant Plus package, a Parking Assistant Professional, and Four surround-view cameras. It also has airbags, but the number of airbags will depend on the model you are buying.
